Q. How long have you been in business?

A. We have been in business since 1983, doing cylinder heads since 1991.

Q. What do you mean "don't pay for core"?

A. We aim to make the transaction very easy for you so instead of charging you a core charge, we simply send UPS back to pick up the old head 7-10 days after the original head was delivered. This saves you from having to track your core dollars. We ask that the head be complete and together.

Q. What are some of the ways you control National Cylinder Head quality?

A. First and most important, every one of our machinists stamp their initials on each cylinder head they do, making them assume responsibility for that head. Second, we give our machinists the finest equipment to work with and finally, we have one machinist whose only job is to check the head out before it is boxed.

Q. How quickly is my head shipped?

A. We ship over 95% of orders received by 3:00 PM EST the same day.

Q. Can National Cylinder Head give me any references?

A. Yes. We sell heads to shops in every state. We would be happy to supply references from your state.

Q. With your low prices, do you leave items off the head?

A. All of our heads come complete with cams, lifters and rockers. Please keep in mind that for some heads, like a GM 2.0 OHC and the quad four family of heads, the cam is not considered part of the head.

Q. How can I be comfortable with National Cylinder Head quality?

A. Because we back up our quality claims with a 90 day $100 labor warranty. The continued training our machinists receive coupled with the state of the art rebuilding and testing equipment we use allows us to offer this labor warranty. We are not aware of any other head company that offers a labor warranty (even the high-priced companies).
